Sorry to be late with the UBDOTD. We have been running all day long!

It is a 10 out of 10 by Sanu. Fit perfect, finish magic stone mirror, hardness 59-60 Rc. 16.5 inches and 1.25 pounds of perfection.
Handle is the hill walnut. Karda and chakma also excellent with magic stone mirror finish.

Gelbu told me the native name for this wood which I promptly forgot so I emailed him asking to tell me again. I'll post it when I get it lest I forget again!

The scabbard is made and tooled by the sarki with no name and the frog is 100 year HI superfrog.

Our price for the UBDOTD for 9-5 is $95 delivered to your door. The quickest mouse in the west will get this one.

Call or email if interested.

Sure is a beauty!

Just wanted to cause some palpitations!

Uncle, is that the same wood used on the handles of the two khuks you sent me today?

Can you keep it for me for when I'm back in the states (dec/jan)?
If yes, I take it and add to the orders. If no I will have another chance.
Fausto (from the high seas)

Fausto, it would never last. I know Yangdu would ship this off unless I hide it. I would hide it under the bed but I am running out of room for my own khukuris.

But don't you worry. We will get you as many khukuris as you want when you get back stateside. We are hiring more people and expanding the factory.

Blues, if I told you the wood on your handles is hill walnut then it is the same except your handles are much, much prettier!

I'm sitting here sadly thinking about the car repair bill due tomorrow and the new slacks my good wife bought me for business meetings which all *should* have gone towards another khukuri but oh, no.. we have to think of our future...

No can do, Uncle. But this has to be a record for such a beaut to go unsold! BTW you almost had me there on that damaged 20" siupati, I was thinking how it wasn't hurt at all for real work. I'm glad its getting fixed up though, a good knife like that deserves it.

Pakcik Bill.

YES ... another beautiful 10 out of 10 Khuk made by Sanu! I like the wood ie. hill walnut --- previously I received 25" Sirupati which I guess it's handle is made from this type of wood ... and I like it very much!

NEPAL HO!
