That's it. I have two 12 inch Ang Kholas perfect in every way except for super glue fix crack on the horn handles. Take either or both for $50 each.

Call or email if interested.

Great, JIPPPIEH (this was a scream indeed ;) )
Onkel, freshen up your German and pick the right one :D

OOOO I've got it bad. I just got the other UBDOTD, every time I see those letters my eyes bug-out my mouth gets dry my hands sweat and I can't hardly hit the keyboard. There's a smoking hole where my money use to be:eek: but it feels sooo good:D.
Thanks Uncle Bill

Keith, I know how you feel. :D I get the same way.

Good catch SvenW and Keith, the 12" AK's are great little Khuks. I really like mine.

Are horn handles prone to cracking? I've always seen blems with cracked horn handles, but not a single one with a cracked WOODEN handle...makes me nervous.

K,
Don't be worried, Uncle's idea of a blem is often misleading! What "he" calls a blem is usually so minor, you will get it & just shake your head in wonder! If it is a true crack it takes super glue & about 2 min. to fix, unless you are Wal. then it takes "who knows how long"!!He gets the glue on his fingers, gets his fingers stuck together, then mails me (being a Researcher & being wise in all things)to help him get out of the mess he makes!hee!

travel from a damp, humid climate, in an air cargo container at sometimes as low as -50°, to Reno and low humidity and dry heat. Both horn and wood suffer some casualties. I have several blems in each, and they can indeed be fixed with super glue, and a little sanding and polishing. Tsimi can do this in 2 min. I usually take longer because I don't use a floor mop to apply the glue. Researchers thirst for knowledge (and he is really thirsty) but they are very untidy personalities. One of the prettiest handles I own is a piece of sap-grained Saatisal (the kamis favorite wood) which had a crack. Glued, sanded, steel wooled and oiled, it is its own light show, and the blade takes 2" limbs of my maples without slowng down. Oh, and be careful with super glue and floor mops. Tsimi's lab is covered with empty shoes that will never go anywhere again. :D

Hi Achim,

indeed, you are no longer the only German here. I´m pleased to meet you
