Ubejane question...

What is the blade width of the Ubejane? I've searched here and gone to the CRK website and haven't found it. What is the balance like? Blade heavy, neutral or handle heavy? There doesn't seem to be a stocking dealer in my state who has one.

Just noticeced this thread... well, Ubejane is one true workhorse! Blade is 0.177" thick so with the high grind it is great slicer. It is neutral, or even slightly blade heavy when you grab the knife more at the butt of handle than just next to the hilt. For it's size it is awesome chopper! Man, I really like this knife!

Hey Piter, how do you think it works as an all-around camp knife? I don't see myself needing to skin things anytime soon, but have been thinking of getting one someday as a general duty outdoors knife. I know you modified one to make your "Scout" which is awesome btw, but how does the unmodded one perform IYO?
