Many moons ago I purchased my Ubejane Skinner and quickly realized that the sheath was not quite user friendly for me.
I designed a sheath for it with an open back like a break front holster and asked the guys at Gfeller Casemakers (the folks who make sheaths for CR) if they'd make it for me.
I was pleasantly surprised when they said yes!
I sent them my detailed drawing and a few weeks later I got the sheath.
It has a snap over retention strap and a snap down belt loop.
Because of the odd shape of the blade you can still lift the knife about an inch out of the sheath but the wider blade shape toward the front and the retention strap prevent it from ever coming out.
It's slim, low-profile and so much easier to draw.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks.
