Can anyone tell me the value of a lightly used Ubejane Skinner ? It doesn't have the paperwork, just the knife and the sheath. Thanks for any info.
 
There is hesitation to discuss pricing on this forum due to the forum rules. You might have better luck inquiring in another forum. For the record I know what you have, but have no idea what it's worth. Very cool knife!
 
I agree with kidcongo. There is rules about discussing prices. Honestly, I am not sure what they are as we just as a whole never discuss them.
 
They don't sell often and pricing can vary a lot. Prices on the OPR knives has gotten crazy, however.
 
Ok. I spend more time in the Busse forum and as long as you are a paying gold member who can sell on the forum, they are good with discussing pricing. Lets try it like this. I have someone wanting to trade one for a knife that I would value at $380 or so. Would that be a fair trade for me?
 
As a gold member you are indeed with in the rules asking about price.....

The skinner is probably worth $380 these days if not more, what one values it at as a used knife is up to the parties involved. Mint examples have sold in the past for $200-$300 over the original price.

I bet you'd get a hundred more, maybe more, on eBay...
 
If it's in acceptable condition to you I'd say that's a fair price for one these days.
I recall a fellow forum member having one for sale or trade for around $425 and it sat for quite a while but eventually went, it was in very nice condition. Pm me if you want to know who it is, he's a stand up guy and shouldn't mind discussing the sale with you if you inquire.
If I was after one of those I'd be fine with that price, especially since it's reasonable and because they don't show up very often.
