Does anyone know if any production knives were made with the stuff? I know it was mostly designed to be a tool steel, but I figure someone out there had to make a run with it somewhere along the line since we see converted file knives and the like.
At only .5% carbon in a non-stainless steel, I have to wonder what benefits would be derived from using this for a knife. Hardness is anywhere from 52-58HRC.
