Oh man, this is sad news. I liked him alot, and had many dealings with him on the forum. He was a great guy and will be missed.
 
I know I have said this a lot but I think it really says something that when people die they often request or their relatives understand that they need to let their online family know.

This constantly amazes me.

I'm an old feller, and I guess I don't really understand the concept of the "online family."

I guess these electronic ties bind ... a little tighter than I realized. Certainly, this is how I learned Jim had passed ... and I really needed to know that.

Still feeling down about it.
 
Jim is one person that I truly wanted to meet. He seemed like the type of guy that had a lot to teach and would enjoy teaching. I will really miss him and truly treasure the knife he gave me.
