I dont have the all the specs on this because I forgot to mesure it before I gave it to its new owner. I made this for a friend of mine,Jr., and gave it to him a yesteday.
Back in the early fall a bunch of friends and I bucherd a few pigs at Jr.s house. One of my friends had a knife that looked more like a cross betwen a spoon and a spatula. Having no point made it easier to use when skinning the pigs. Especially on the back area of the pig. I decided to try and make one. this is what I came up with.
Then about two weeks ago Jr.s house burned down so I decided to finish it up and give it to him.
It was forged from 1084 and is sharpened all the way around the end. The handle is spalted maple that was stabilized by WSSI.
Tell me what you think. Keep in mind this is for skinning only.
