I feel bad for the rest of the knives I own, I don't think they will be getting much pocket time after my recent pickup. I just received my first CRK today, a 25, and wow am I impressed! This is probably the best folder I have ever handled in terms of FF, feel in hand and just overall look. I was worried that the all Ti handles would be slick, but they feel great and have an almost rough texture to them, not smooth at all. The detent is a bit stiff and takes quite a bit of pressure to initially overcome, but after that it is smooth as silk. I picked it up used so I may send it in to have it gone over, but I don't want to be without it haha.

I also have a Star-Tac inbound and I'm very worried it won't compare to the 25. I honestly can't think of a single thing I would change on the 25, it is that good...

Congrats and welcome to the family (Addiction). You picked a great one.

I love my 25, it's an awesome knife.

IMO CGG would help the 25 some...:D

Ah enjoy your new knife!

When I got my sebenza, I carried daily for about 6 months thinking nothing will kick it out. Sometimes you'll find a knife that you like abusing more but will always come back to the sebenza.

So far for me, the spyderco Southard is the only knife that will push the sebenza out of my pocket.

Sebenzas don't even need the spa treatment.

Already tried the Southard and domino, I think I'm safe :)

Congrats on your new 25! That was my first Sebenza also, earlier this winter. I can't understand the haters of the 25, it's one great knife. Those who caught and released don't know what they are missing.

Be careful though. Now I'm at 4, with my new pivot lefty 'Zaan showing up tomorrow and an old pivot righty on deck. That will be 5 in a matter of months.

Bad for my bank account, but glorious for my psyche! Thank goodness my long-time girlfriend thinks they cost $40 each or I'd have some 'splanin to do! Hey - I gave up the bar scene finally and she's getting a new porch this year so it's all good.

Back on track - If you later look at 21 Sebenzas, I recommend the Micarta inlaid ones. I have a lefty large and a righty large Insigngo, both in Micarta, and they are different enough that all three are special and unique, the 25 and these two. With the 21s having the Micarta, it makes them seem like a totally different knife, because they truly are.

The 25 is really a great knife. So solid, sure seems like the only knife you'd ever NEED.

Having more CRKs when you already have a 25 makes them WANTS, but great wants they are, too.

You'll see...! Again, congratulations.

Nice score on your first CRK, don't worry the Star Tac will be equally impressive. The real worry is going to be what to get next. I've found the each CRK you will ever own will have a unique quality that you will admire even if you think it's just a plane jane, there's a ton of them, nothing special about it. The quality you see in your 25 will be in every CRK made.
