Ok, I really love spyderco knives be because of how they look, but my Delica and tenacious got blade play with in a day or so...

Let me start with my Delica... I got it about 3 months ago and with in the first 3 days it had up/down and left/right blade play. I contacted Spyderco's warranty service about this and well, they never got back to me...

Now today I received my tenacious and it already has left/right blade play, a screw in the handle is stripped and when I try to tighten the pivot... It won't budge...

I really like spyderco knives and I want to keep buying them but out of my collection of three Spyderco's, two of them have problems....

I would really like sal to chime in because I'm just about done...

Try calling Spyderco on the telephone about your issues. Do this during business hours in mountain time zone. You will need to send in the knives that have problems so the problems can be fixed by qualified persons.
 
What Bill said... give them a call. They probably get thousands of emails a day.
Also I will add that I've probably had 30+ Spyderco lockbacks over the last 21 years and with the exception of the Native V I was able to induce blade play in all of them if I wiggled hard enough. I got used to it and since it doesn't affect the functionality I still buy and recommend them.
