I'm looking for a knife in the classic Italian folding "stiletto" style (Unfortunately usually only associated with 50s "switchblades") but one appropriate for EDC in the United Kingdom.

For those not familiar with British knife law, this means it must:

-Not be assisted opening/gravity/"flick" etc.

-Have a blade length of 3 inches or under.

-Have no locking mechanism.

That said, any ideas? I've found several ALMOST suitable blade on various websites, but so far always either too long, or with a locking mechanism.

This is not a knife intended for significant rough use, so quality isn't of the highest concern. It's more of a stylistic/collecting thing.

(Just an example of what I'm looking for, unfortunately this knife has a lock)

If you've checked the Campolins, Beltranes, Sons of Sicily, etc. and their dealer sites, it might be kind of hard to find an Italian to meet those requirements technically. Wouldn't you about have to modify one?

I'm a fan of the Italians and also carry Cold Steel Ti-Lites, probably the next thing to them but not autos. They do lock though....maybe you could modify that. Four inch blade too so scratch that.....

There are some really cool stiletto penknives at Aceros de Hispania, same blade type with only a slight change in style.
