Anyone used these? I'm looking for an inexpensive but solid folder for office carry. I want something that won't tear up my khakis or dress pants. I'm thinking the clip on the spyderco may be perfect for that. It's also light, thin, and has screws vs. pins which I like. From what I read it's handle is about 4 inches long as well.

Can anyone give me some info on this that carries one?

Pretty sure the blade is 3 inches. It's super light and carries deep in the pocket. The updated version comes with a FFG blade. The only thing I don't like about it is the blade steel. CTS-BD1 isn't the best, but it will work just fine in an office. If you can find a g10 version it comes with CPM-S30V steel. They are discontinued though.

I actually meant the handle is 4 inches. Thanks man!

I bought one a while back and I honestly love it, for the price it's a great little edc blade as long as you can get by without a lock. For most daily tasks I don't miss it but some people might.

I looked at them but was turned off by the non-locking blade. I got a Dragon Fly 2 instead and couldn't be happier with it.

Perfect office knife. I rotate this and the man bug. Easy one hand open/close on the pen knife. US made.

I use frequently, it was my most frequent use knife until I bought Junior. however Junior is somewhat wide blade and I use it mainly in the garden or as second knife out of town. the UKPK is more suitable for office
non locking mechanism does not collapse
handle very comfortable to me. it is light.
steel good for light office use
cost 47$

My favorite light carry knife. Very solid even without a lock, quick and safe to close with my index finger protected by the choil. Classic Spyderco blade, a real slicer.

I don't see that a locking blade would be necessary in an office setting. I have a recently purchased UKPK with drop point blade. It's impressive although I haven't used it or carried it yet. The blade almost feels like it is locked when open and at the halfway point. I wouldn't worry about the lack of a lock but then I also carry and use slipjoints and I've never considered the lack of a blade lock to be a negative for that design.

One of my favorites.
I carry a G10 version at times, and even with the great wire clip the textured G10 is a little rough on the pocket.

It sounds like the FRN version is exactly what you're looking for. I carried one of those for a while and it was easy on the pocket, and so light you hardly know its there.
Great little knife. No lock to fool with either, and when held in choil position there is no way it will close on you.

I have the titanium version and carry it all the time. Fantastic little knife!

UK PK works great, feels great in hand, is super light, and the FRN ones aren't very expensive. Get one and give it a try. I'm a fan of the drop point variants and I'm carrying the black one now.
