in two words :
F Yah !

It's like a little Para 2.
sort of. Anyway I love it !

and . . . Full steel back spacer all the way to the rear and around the bend. Gives the knife a little more heft and looks great.
Has an extra screw towards the rear third.

The edge could not be better ! = the geometry I would have , and do, put on my other knives fresh out of the box . . . [cussing and exclaiming : Why can't hundred year old knife manufactures put a usable edge on their knives [[ Case ]]] (before I someday go back and start reprofiling, thinning and polishing ) . . .
. . . came with fairly acute sharpening angle and seriously sharp alllllll along that nice blade shape with a tip you can do eye surgery with 😍 😍 😍 😎

This G10 gives me the traction that has been missing on the FRN UKPK from top to bottom across the handle when pinching the sides of the scales. Oddly the screen pattern FRN looks symmetrical front to back and top to bottom but the purchase on the pattern is lacking top to bottom.

all fixed with the G10 !

The G10 knife is a micro amount thicker.
It seems to be less resistance to open and more resistance to close. That's GOOD.

. . . I got to take some laundry out and put more in.
OH I'M JUST SO HAPPY !
IT'S BLUE AND EVERYTHING !
TTFN

Thanks NorcalAF and Jmh33

Wow ! ?
I'm confused. I finally got around to reading the pamphlet that came in the box with the knife and it says this knife has been around for twenty years and started out in G10 !
I have never seen one here or on the Spyderco forums in G10 until now...
Both are international forums including the UK so what gives ? I have been very avid for about twelve years as far as collecting locking folders and poring over steel details and following the forums (thirty years before that I bought a few knives and was struggling to learn sharpening but wasn't crazy into it like I am now). I would think I would have been at least vaguely aware of that old G10 version.

I have been thinking of picking a UKPK up for a while. Possibly the magnacut version for wading and yak fishing.

Ive also been looking at the g10 and spy 27. I always regretted not buying the titanium one.

Post up some pics of your new knife
