Now that the drop point is coming out, will the other versions of the UKPK (especially the orange handled) remain in production?

At this time, we do not have any plans to disco any of the current UK variations.

We do have plans to make FRN versions of all of the variations, plus several colors and a much lower MSRP.

We do have other blade shapes that we are considering.

We are also always open to your suggestions.

That's great news. The orange one caught my eye recently and I was thinking about collecting a few of this model.

I thought the Drop Point was an Urban model, not a UKPK model. Am I wrong? Is there a drop point UKPK model coming out? The Urban is smaller than the UKPK isn't it?

All of the UK models will be made in Golden.

The Urban is smaller, made in Seki, and is available at this time only in a leaf style and warncliffe style blades.

Thank you.
Looking forward more variants of UKPK (Caly3 as well).
Is any chance to make UKPK or Caly3 with bolsters? Or wood scales?

Anything is possible.

The Caly3 makers is capable of making excellent knives with boslters and scales. We've not a a big demandfor this.

A Caly 3 that had a deeper choil like the UK knife and that could be disassembled would be the perfect EDC.

Just bought two Caly 3's, one CF ZDP, one G-10.

Would love to see one in a drop point! A FG G-10 Caly 3 with a drop point would be a MUST have for sure!

Dang Ken...you're rollin!!

Man I've been fighting this knife addiction for almost 30 years Rolf...and its still kicking my azz!!! At least I'm trying hard to stay away from the Custom, and real pricey factory stuff(for now at least):o

As long as I've still got my house I'm good though:p

Take the UKPK design and place a linar lock or compression lock in the knife that would be great. And bring back the black G-10 or do a como or cranberry UKPK.

Cranberry G-10 UKPK Drop Point. OMG TOO COOL!!! I NEED that one!

Ken

Micarta is nice but a polished cranberry G-10 appeals even more.

Don't get me wrong, I love Spydie textured G-10 but as something different, let's have a smooth one... The UKPK grip would still be plenty secure.

Maybe 154CM/CPM154 as a steel?

I wouldn't even mind seeing some 440C with FRN scales. As an EDC blade amazing edge retention isn't really something I need.

Ken---Fighting knife addiction for 30 years?!
I'm in trouble. :D
Now, off I go to check out the Urban. ;)

Or maybe offer some of both? I'd like to try S30V, but all models that offer it seem to be out of the range of my budget. But if focusing on low-cost, maybe 154CM is the way to go, a la Manix 2. Flat-ground, please, of course ;)
