UKPK tension difference??

Wondering if any of you that have or had multiple UKPKs have experienced a noticeable difference in the tension of the spring when opening and closing?? Seems like my old FG was much firmer than my new Orange but don't have it to compare just going off memory
 
i did notice a difference!
I have an orange UKPK and, for some reason i don't know, the backspring broke!
I sent it for repair and it actually just came back two hours ago, and the tension when opening and closing is much firmer now!
 
We're still refining the tension on the Slipits. It's challenging to dial in, but we're persistent. A few thou in thickness as well as a point in Rc makes a big difference.

Just a little push with my index finger in the shot below will slam it shut right past the half stop. It seemed like I could barely do it with the foilage green one but hopefully it will not be a problem I think if a slip it is used properly that you should not have to worry about accidental closing
