Own 1 but don't carry it.

I love the recurve design (did I mention that I am a Ken Onion fan?) and consider it a classic that is generally unknown and unappreciated.

If you like the Ulize, you should also consider the Opus (that I also own) which was also designed by Hennicke for Spyderco. It is designed more conventionally but I also consider it a classic.

Just try to find one of either to buy.

I do like the looks of the Opus. But I'm not to fond of linerlocks. I'm into lockbacks, axis type locks, framelocks, buttonlocks, and mostly fixed blades. Also it doesn't have much of a guard to keep your hand off the blade but it looks like it would really lock in your hand so that may not be a problem. I just looked to see if you could still get them and it seems you can. One of my favorite online knife stores has them and also that big big big online shopping center that keeps bringing me packages.
