I have never seen a post about this knife here, but even if it has been brought up, maybe it's time to show the 'first' Old Timer again.

Supposedly, this is the first Old Timer produced. Probably done as a 'test market' knife to see how these things would do. From around 1958 to 1966. Sawcut delrin handles, the familiar Old Timer shield, 3 1/4" length closed, with clip, spey, sheepfoot blades. Mine are not mint, as you can see, but it's the history important to me, not the condition.

Any rarer 'Old Timer'? Anyone have a 2OT?

Phil,
LT has presented us a few pictures of the 2OT's in the past. In fact it was his posting that I found on my 1st search for a 2OT that brought me to the BF. Its predessor's were the 2202 and 2203 3/4 pictured on pg 26 of the Catalog E reprint of the 1928-38 Schrades.

We need a little more history on the 58. The little cousin of the 858.

It was one of the 3 "coupon" knives offered on the Prince Albert tobacco cans
For $2.00 and 5 tobacco wrappers you could get a 58OT, 10OT or the Camper OT.

We need more!

Larry, I recently had my eye on a Prince Albert tobacco can, but damn... so did someone I know.

I'll search back in the forums, LT always posts good pics.

Any one you guys want one of the 58's, they come up once in a while on Ebay, cheap.

A little Ulster History here.
