There's something about their 2 7/8" knives with peach seed delrin from 50-60 years ago that turn my crank.

I like them too. I have a 3 3/8 Stockman that is a favorite. And you can usually buy them pretty cheap.

I concur. Those are gorgeous, L leghog .

This 3 5/8" Carpenter's knife is a favorite of mine to carry. The delrin doesn't have the same character as your 2 7/8" knives, though. Perhaps is was produced in a later era than when you referenced? Regardless, it also has a "something about it" quality that makes me happy.

It was produced later. By Schrade. I gave away one just like it here on this forum.

I don’t turn up my nose at Schrade Waldens, or Schrade NY either.

I actually prefer their smooth and saw cut delrin over the jigged. Whatever you like, there’s a Schrade to scratch your itch.
