Ulster scout knife

watch and see what it goes for on ebay. that should give a good idea of value. I'm guess that these were made in the 50's and 60's because I have seen literally thousands of them around between the knife and gun shows and ebay.

thanks alot jackknife you are one of my favorite posters EVER and what kind of scout knife did you carry??

A Camillus!

Complete with the motto "Be prepared" molded into the brown synthetic bone handles. My son Matt has that knife today and carries it. :)

one thing is though I feel guilty for carrying it and I was never a scout but its so darn useful

I have one like that that was my dad's first knife. He was born in 1935, so I guess he probably got it in the mid 40s. Want to hear something horrible? When I was a young idiot of about 13, I took Dad's Dremel and ground off the BSA logo! I could kick my own a$$ when I think about this. I keep the knife here in my office. Mostly it gets used opening beer bottles on Friday afternoons. Be prepared indeed!

I received one just like it as my first knife around 1968. They were the standard official knife for the Boy Scouts then.
