Greetings Earthlings!
Here I will display my work. The name Ultiblade is not just a name. It represents 2 years of investigation and setting up heat treatment to achieve better results. I use CHT (Cyclic Heat Treatment) or Multiquench method. As it achieves minimum of double the toughness I have decided to go hard. Minimum is 60HRC. Big choppers are 61HRC also. For now my blades are from O2 tool steel. I have tested 10xxx series and they do not react much to CHT, and have been discarded. In the near future D3 will be introduced as I have very good results with it, for now. So good it has proven tougher than O2. Short video on a destructive test soon.
