Redundancy, boys and girls, you can't have too many knives on you. Back-ups. Redundancy. One is none and two is one. What better back-up knife to carry than the Official 2009 BFC BARLOW Pocket Knife.
Back up those Busses with a Barlow. Be the first on your block to have one. Get your name on the list today!

I have a nice Chris Reeve Large Regular (Stars and Stripes) that helps me - when I need a folder. Pocket clip, easy one hand opening, and she is really built like a tank

But thanks for the heads up anyway. :)

i jus ordered one... it is a good part of the BFC community, as far as companions why not just have a large family

Back-up for a Busse is a Busse,,,,,,,or one of my other EDC Folders,,,,,,Terzuola EagleRock, Lambert Sniper, Crawford Dress Kasper Flipper , Strider Damascus RC , or a Lrg. Classic Sebbie.....minimum blade length 3.5 (Sebbie) all the others are larger..... small slipjoints ain't my cup-o-tea. Thanks for the offer though,,,,, seems many are interested.

Really guys thats all my post was, just a heads up to let you know about these in case anyone is interested.

Yeah, thanks for the heads up. Funny thing was I was checking it out just when you posted here

Personally I carry a few SAK's as backups for my Busses so I don't see anything wrong with a good Barlow. Not every job out there needs nuclear toughness

(Although I do wish I had an infi SAK just in case!)

I may sign up. my first purchased knife that I remember was a Buck 110, but when you're in the sixth grade money doesn't come easily, LOL I remember my Dad letting me 'long term' borrow his barlow folder, it had one of those nice movable rings around the pommel.

Haven't thought about a barlow in lord over ten years. Wow, lot's of memories...

Obvious answer is to carry ANOTHER Busse knife to backup:confused: your first one:eek: As far as I know a person only needs to carry one Busse knife:yawn: Because if one is in any situation that may endanger their first Busse knife, you can be sure no 'already broken knife' is going to save yer' bacon:rolleyes:

Nice pocketknife for your change pocket on one's jeans, but don't confuse the purpose one carries a Busse knife with Gentlemen knives.:foot:

Weird timing. I got this one in the mail today from AG Russell, a bone handled two blade Barlow in carbon steel from Solingen. To see if I was still interested in Barlows I had picked up a Böker Arbolito Barlow for $12 and carried it a while. It is 440 but it will get pretty sharp, (I'm healing up nicely, thanks for asking.) We'll see if this one gets to ride with a Busse in the future, I don't see how it will replace the current pocket resident, a Spyderco Military in CPM S30V, Ouch!

Hey Thomason, Thanks for letting everyone know about this. It looks like it is going to be a great knife. I signed up for one.

huh?

why?

There are more than a few of us who visit the Traditional forum as well as here. I appreciated the heads up since I planned on getting one and didn't want to miss the window of opportunity. This will be my third BFC knife and not my last.
