So for quite a few years I have asked around to see if I could get as close to my perfect EDC. I'm in an urban setting. Needed something small, tail stand, great turbo, excellent moonlight and a wall of light. Had to be no more than 3.25" long and no more than 1" diameter.

My chosen host was the 4Sevens Quark CR123 Pro.

Until recently, nobody was willing to make the triple and have a driver that could do what I wanted.

Until I met Ludeconduct (cpf name) on Facebook who was selling a quad convoy mod with the BLF A6 driver which I bought and I decided to ask and see what he could do.

That was it. He put in a triple Nichia 219b high CRI, guppy 2 driver and overrode the spring for that 1500 lumen power.

BUT

I'm picky. The guppy 2 did not meet my need for a true moonlight mode (very customizable and will be loved by many and I think he has a newer version of the guppy 2 with better moonlight ). So I looked back to my modified convoy and thought "Damn that is a great moonlight mode"... So I asked and he was able to get BLF A6 drivers. Had to endure a week or 2 before receiving it and BAM!

I present the perfect EDC...

Tixx. . . That is a fantastic light and I really like the specs on it! Do you mind sharing what your total out-of-pocket expenses were to create such a nice light?
I have always been a fan of Foursevens up until the Quark Smart came out--what a buggy, glitchy, and tempermental light it is! I love my old Quark 123 and it remains one of my favorite overall lights.

Tried to send a PM, but not going through. $160, but he has a sale going on right now.
