Man, that sounds like a blast. Ireland is gorgeous.
We spread some of my late Father In Law's ashes there. He went 5 times in his life. As a matter of fact, I use a toast all the time that he picked up there that may be the most "Irish" thing I've heard.

May those that love us love us.
And those that do not love us, may God turn their hearts.
And if He cannot turn their hearts, may He turn his ankles so that we may know them by their limping.

I totally agree. I didn't think I would feel at home in Ireland, but man I could stay and never go home.

Lovely people and places. One of my favorite pubs had what I would call a limited menu. When you asked the guy behind the bar what they had to eat he would say, "We serve ham sandwiches, cheese sandwiches, and ham and cheese sandwiches. If you fancy anything else, there is a McDonalds about 45 minutes dow' the road.":D
