Got to see and hold the Ultimate Hunter today. Wow, what a nice blade for someone wanting a folding blade for hunting and outdoors.
The overall size, while still large, was smaller than I thought it would be from the photos I’ve seen.
G10 handle was quite ergonomic and not overly thick. Not overly grippy but grippy enough.
The drop point blade shape was nearly perfect for general outdoor use and skinning, not too tall like the AD10.
Don't know what the weight was, but lighter than I expected.
I had an AD10. Very nicely constructed and fun too play with, but the blade was too tall for my uses and the handle was too short, for my hands, with the bird’s head rear.
A very nice knife, but for practical use I would take the Ultimate Hunter all day.
