What steel are the "Caltrops" made of? Wouldn't want them to flatten out underfoot! LOL! I bet there are some folks who have been waiting their entire life for this setup.

That is a perfect self-defense weapon. If a bad guy is chasing you, you throw that down and keep running. The bad guys will still be laying on the ground laughing when the cops get there...

Add a fingerguard with builtin brass knuckles and it would be even better. Blade could be tigerstriped too.
 
It also doesn't seem to have skull crusher and hollow handle could house some ninja rope.
 
We had a trip to SMKW in Tenn when my son was about ten years old and I told him that he could have any knife there (within reason). He picked out a ninja knife kind of like that. He is now 27 years old and we still bring it up and tease him about it.
