What is the ultimate Sebenza? I think it’s the Large Regular with the flat-ground BG-42 blade. Prove me wrong! :p

The ultimate could not be a large, it would have to be small. And of course, it has to have some stainless basketweave damascus.

large regular with graphics and damascus blade. I have the pheasant tail graphic small and that is my favorite graphic right now.

I have to agree with Ookpik. I've got the Large Regular with the Flat-Ground BG-42 Blade in Left-Hand Version, 1 of only 5 signed and dated by Chris Reeve.

Ookpik,

I guess we could always buy a Limited Edition Regular Sebenza with wood inlay and swap out the blades with out Flat-Grind blades. They would be swapable since they are both regular Sebenza models right?

Indeed! Gave mine a good clean, lube & sharpening yesterday. :D

The ultimate. . . . .

I'd have to go with:

1) Large; flat ground
2) LDC-9
3) LDC-109
4) Gold Coin. . . .Canadian Maple Leaf

:D

Of the three Sebenzas that I have, the large regular flatground is my favorite.

My small mayoed regular and the large S30V classic don't get nearly the same amount of use.

Chris Reeve sold only 5 BG-42 flat-ground models signed and dated in the left-hand version, however he made a total of 130 flat-ground models signed and dated, therefore 125 of the right-hand models should have been sold. I've also been told by others that they too have a large plain Sebenza with flat-ground blade, but these were probably left over blades and were not signed and dated by Chris.

I'd like a large flat ground with a S90V blade. but that will never happen. :grumpy:
