A ultimate shoot out for a purchase very very very soon. This knife has no purpose other then to be carried fondled and enjoyed (I'm sick I know I know lol).
The competition (prices includes)

Zt 301 223$
Zt 0350 120$
Zt 0200 130$
Zt 0561 210$
Spyderco gayle Bradley 150$

As you can see I'm looking for more of a tough blade for this purchase.

For the price for fun and for pure enjoyment of ownership.

I love the 0200, but for fondling I think I'd go with the 0561 and KVT. Something about the silky smooth action of bearing-pivot flippers gives them crazy high fidget factor for me.

This is a tough list. Pure brute goes to the 0300. Brutish but extraordinarily comfortable goes to the 0200. The brute in a tux award goes to the Gayle Bradley. The 0560/0561 gets the smooth and pretty brute award.

Bang for the buck has to be the Gayle Bradley. They're all great, but to me the GB gives a lot for the money.

Zt 0561 210$

hands down IMHO... design, toughness, steel selection, warranty, and general awesomeness are all in one package

I've had all of those (560 instead of 561 though, but the same knife), and I've kept the ZT560, ZT200, and Gayle Bradley. Of those 3, I carry the Gayle Bradley the most and have used it the hardest. For fondling and flipping, the ZT560.

edited to add: I found the ZT350's handle to be too short and cramped, and there was nothing wrong with the ZT300 but I just didn't see myself keeping it because I used the ZT200 a lot more over it.

I would also vote this way for the same reason.

The 301 is a big boy though, and assisted if you like that.

Gayle Bradley. The best steel out of the bunch by far, and can be found for a price closer to the low end rather than the high end.

Could anyone post a 0350 and 0200 comparison pic please?

Left to right: 0200, 0301, 0350, 0560, 0550

The 0301 is my favorite of the lot. It's a great knife to fondle and flip around, and it is quite capable as a cutting tool too. ;)

I have the zt0350 and the Spyderco Gayle Bradley and I like the Spyderco better. It's my favorite folder I have

for using, the spyderco.

for fondling... well doesn't really matter in that regard, if one of them is a flipper then probably that one...

Gayle Bradley cuts all day with good weight behind the CPM-M4. Personally, the best non-flipper Spyderco. Great looking and grippy CF/G10 handle.

ZT 0301 is the epitome of the beefy and hard-use ZT. The assisted opening is a pleasure to fondle. Blade comes out more like a flipper unlike the 0350 which snaps out in force.

Everyone, who can, should have one of each. If you were to carry one for EDC GB would win over 0301. For fun 0301 if you can handle the weight and real estate it occupies in your pocket.

The Gayle Bradley is my choice. Balance and slicing ability, great steel make it stand out in the crowd.
