I managed to grab Coop and get a some images of my recently acquired steel. No easy task, given his popularity!

He was working on the photo captions and said what do you want to call this? Frankly, I didn't have a clue. It strikes me as a chunky clip point Bowie, but it could be a large hunter, perhaps a fighter, or mid-sized camp knife, or just about anything for any purpose. Hence the name: Ultimate Utility. I did seriously consider "Kick @ss Utility, but resisted. As usual Russ has also made it gorgeous.

I hope that you love it, as much as I do!

Every time I see one of Russ' knives it makes me yearn for the one he is making for me right now. Great knife.
 
This is one of those knives that if, hypothetically, you had to choose only one fixed blade for your collection, this would be a finalist. It has it all.

Excellent Knife Pete,Russ Andrews Definately has The Touch when it comes to his style,fit & finish,and designs.I've liked every knife I've seen from him-Bowie & Fighter wise.

I hadn't given it a name, but the one you came up with comes pretty close.

It was a custom order for a fellow who wanted a small bowie type/back
woods do-it-all kind of knife.

Maybe "Backwoodsman"........"Backwoods"....utility...?
 
Russ, from one maker to another, My hats Off to you!:thumbup: Perfect proportions, great fit and finish, and good handle material. The great photography completes the package and frankly I just cant help staring. :) Lin
