I worked on this for a while some time ago. It rides at a 45 degree angle on my left side for easy access.
I did the micarta work my self with files and sand paper after I used a grinder on the handle hump.

The little scrap yard has a place on the spine to use as a striker for the fire steel.

Thanks for the comments. Yes I did mod the grip a bit. I know some swear by the handle hump but I hated it. Here are a few more pics.

That is an excellent combo. Got me thinking about doing the same thing with my Chopweiler and Swamp Warden.

I love the choppy. I got the scrapivore over the warden because the scrapicore looks like it will facilitate using it kind of like a broad head if needed at the end of a stick.

Probably silly thinking but that was my reasoning at the time.

I have used this some while camping and it is very handy and worth the weight.
Compared to a small knife, hatchet, and folding saw, it's much lighter.

I really like mine. Although from time to time I throw a trade offer out for some infi and no one takes me up on it.
I guess not everyone is a fan of my handle mods. I guess I should just trust fate in those cases.

Outstanding work on that knife handle! Well done! :)

It fits my hand very well. The hump just didn't turn my crank. The handle looks better when its cleaned up. The grain of the micarta shows up pretty decently. It took me a
Little while to commit to doing the handle but once I touched the grinder to it there was just no turning back.

Thanks for the kind words.
