Examples of such plz that have precious materials only slim / narrow elegant longish blades like steak knives.

Folder thread but pocket fixed blades accepted.

No heavily overbuilt chunks style knives - nothing wrong with that style but they already get enough threads.

Pics, links, personal experience or just dream knives appreciated.

Note: I do not own such a knife but am interested in seeing what's out there in case I win the lottery.

1) On the left is the William Henry B12 Spearpoint "Adventure" with frame and bolsters in hand-forged "T-Rex" Damascus by Delbert Ealy, inlaid with the ring cut of a 10,000-year-old fossilized Woolly Mammoth tusk. The blade is 'Intrepid' Damascus hand-forged by Chad Nichols. 2) Then we have a full custom Alan Davis slip joint with Vegas Forge carbon Damascus blade and Elk horn covers. 3) then a full custom Michael J. Smith "Conquerer" with Mother of Pearl scales, Mike Norris Damascus blade and Damascus hand-filed backspacer, and Robert Eggerling gorgeous Timascus bolsters, and blued and jeweled liners. 4) finally, the William Henry Monarch with Rob Thomas (Devin's brother) Typhoon Damascus blade, Mike Sakmar Mokume Gane frame and integral bolsters, and CF scales. I have more but this should help.

That's what I'm talking about - like.

I would contact an engraver, Jake Newell did my Endura, about doing that. Jake is great; a true artist.
I don't think I've ever seen inlays on the blade; only scales and bolsters.
No reason why it couldn't be done.

If you like the Thorburn, he works with Julien Marchal in South Africa.
There's also another engraver that just posted up in the custom forum, Sarah Ladd, she's worth a look too.
Don't forget our own WValtakis though I don't know if he does inlays.

What you need is some Wolfgang Loerchner eye candy! Paging wolfeknives wolfeknives ! Your fantastic and sleek folders are begging to be shown! (Again 😊)
This. And Wolf gives a whole new definition to "handmade".

His daughter Elizabeth is another fine example of such knives.

The William Henry B12 is perfect fit answer to your question. Its has that kitchen knife blade shape you are looking for as well. I've owned one before, a fine knife.
