I am looking for a ultra-light edc necker knife.

I have a BK14 Eskabar, but its a little heavy and big for around town edc

I am looking at the

CRKT Folts minimalist bowie
CRKT Ritter Mk5
Kabar Piggyback
Kabar Becker BK13 Remora

Does anyone have any experiences with any of these,
if so please share,

Does anyone have any other options I should look at?

I don't want to spend more than $25 on it
and I want it to be in the 1-2.5in range (blade size)
it has to be light, carry well and have good overall ergos

Thanks in advance,

Kabar Piggyback
Kabar Becker BK13 Remora...

I happen to have all 4.

Piggyback sheath sucks, doesn't hold well, doesn't lay flat, crummy plastic, knife split mine. Not real comfy in hand. Largest blade of the four though.

Ritter just too dang small and short for practical use, can hardly hold onto it at all with much force; best in just a mini-survival backup kit.

Remora ok all around, but not real comfy in hand.

Of mini knife category like these, Minimalists are excellent, stellar sheath, very secure but comes out nicely too. Not a hard use knife as not all that thick, but great slicers, and not a slouch for SD either. Of the four, this is the only one that will feel great in hand, very secure the way your fingers lock into it. Both the Bowie and the Wharncliff are great, but see not much reason for the Tanto.

Remora after I made the first finger groove a bit larger its perfect.

Minimalist Bowie. Can be had for about $15 on amazon and after a bit of touching up can take a great edge. Locks into your hand and is very maneuverable for such a small knife.
