This was a fun little design I put together for a gentlemen who is into ultra light back packing. I believe this knife will be going on an elk hunt this year as well.
A touch over 7" OAL
3/32 thick with a wicked distal taper. I realize now that I should have also tapered the tang. (next time)
I scaled down my compact hiker handle and skeletonized it and gave it a wharnecliff sort of blade. Customer asked for just a little more width on the blade(which was a great call). Visually this little guy is checking all the boxes for me. I just ordered some new finishing stones so I can play with stone washed textures. I admit the plunge transition still needs some working out. Let me know what you guys think. Even in an overcast day the blade kept getting washed out. best I could do with the photos

I think it's a great design, well suited to its purpose

I have some silver twill and some marbled lined up for the next two :)
