I wouldnt mind hiking naked, I just wouldnt want to run into other men hiking naked.
 
Wouldn't want to come face to face with a bear.. while my meat is exposed... its just too dangerous..

Several years ago my wife and I were camping on Indian Lake in New York's Adirondack Mountains. We were camping on a narrow island with only two campsites on it and the folks who had the other site left after the weekend. We had the place to ourselves and one day after skinny dipping, I dried off and just decided not to get dressed. It was really nice to tell the truth. Bugs weren't a problem (thank gawd) and being in the woods, sunburn wasn't a problem either. If you get a chance to do this descretely, give it a whirl. It made for a memorable night anyway...:D
 
We were headed up a trail one afternoon to find a couple ladies coming down the trail topless. Could make hiking REALLY popular. It does make it really difficult to think of things to say as you pass by... ummmm HI!

After visiting Wreck Beach in Vancouver (on the UBC campus) the weekend before classes started, it is all down hill. We didn't know it was a nude beach and walked down the trail to find 500+ college kids buck naked in the sun. Yowsa, these Canadians are a friendly lot! :D
