This is one I`m making for udtjim. He wanted a small, lightweight knife for pocket carry. This one is 6" overall, 2 1/2" blade, 1/8" thick, with 1/8" maroon micarta handles. It weighs 2 3/4 ounces!

Hi Stomper -

Nice!

Thanks for the picture.

Looks like a nice, handy little knife, nothing fancy, just meant to do the job.

Something I would like to comment on though. This BTW is not aimed at this knife in particular but more of a general comment. This knife, as in many others, seems to have fairly "sharp" edges on the handle slabs. (Pic makes it look that way anyway).

It would seem to me that the handle would be more comfortable to use if the edges were a little more rounded. I'm sure this is a personal preference thing but I'm just wondering what you guys might think.

Other than that, I like it.

John- nice looking knife :) How does it differ from the Hiker backup? iirc the Hiker Backup is similarly spec'd

thanks

Mike

John, this looks like a near perfect EDC! Were the holes in the handle to reduce weight? Is it doable .75 inch tall with a leather sheath with belt clip?

Thanks,
cv

The holes are to reduce weight, and it could be done as you describe.
