This is my new Ultralight Friction Folder. It`s got a 4" handle and a 3" blade, 1/8" thick, and with a total thickness of 3/8". The handles on this one are 1/8" black G10, but they will be available in G10 in black, OD green, red, hunter orange, bright yellow, and hot pink! Also black, tan and green canvas micarta. These will sell for $100.00

They will also be available in a scandi grind.

Hi Stomper -

Could that be made with the indigo blue micarta and and orange colored liner (to match the color of threads on blue jeans as close as possible)?

Also - The way the knife stops open, is there any idea that you might have to eliminate the protruding tang that stops the blade, i.e. could it be made with the stop-pin closer to the tang so when closed it did not have the protrusion?

None of these are big deals - I want # 1 for after my Bowie is completed - June?

best regards -

Can you post a picture of all of the G10 color slabs just so i can see what they look like please? I may be interested in getting one for myself and my girlfriend when taxes come around :-)

Can`t do liners on a friction folder, it will eat them up. As for the indigo material, it`s only available in 3/8" thickness.

Hi Stomper -

Ok - fair enough.

Black it is!

I know this would add weight and cost, but could you make one with titanium liners?
I know it may not be needed, but much like there can never be enough cow-bell:D, there can never be too much titanium.

If you are serious, send me an email with the details for my files.

Hi Stomper -

Of course I am serious. :D Email sent ;)

I did change my mind on the color - I think OD Green would be the best.

I also asked if a lanyard hole would be doable on this design.

Thanks in advance!

Time for the obvious rooikat question.....
can you clip point it?

Also, I second that lanyard hole question of Mr. Mqqn

Great blade shape would be superb in scandi.
Did I miss what steel the blade is:confused:
cheers

Well at least I got one order for these. :D

I am very interested in one. The problem for me is that you have been making SO MANY great new designs I can't decide which to get first. I will want to add one of these at some point.
