This is my first Ulu. It's made from an old cultivator tip. 1075?
The blade is about 3"x5" with acid fumed curly maple handle and mild steel fittings.
The stand is forged from mild steel.

great looking ulu! That is awesome for a first. When I get the nerve to try one I hope it turns out half that good!

Thanks guys. dpusser, go for it. They are easy to forge. The curve will develope naturaly as you forge the bevels.
Nice Ulu's Gilbert. What steel are you using?
