Cut from a 100 year old millsaw blade, L6? . Moose antler handle with a primitive hunting charm mask carved into the end. Scary sharp. Sheath to come.:D Sheath pictures added. Oiled leather lined in red upholstery leather with a simple Naskapi etched design. The Naskapi were hunters for Labrador.

Best regards

Robin, you never fail to AMAZE me. Awesome, I love the moose handle. Moose antlers are so beautiful but so large it's hard to find anything to do with them but you nailed this one . Little mans name is " My owner scares me"....Randy

I’m still convinced that you have a time machine Robin. Beautiful work as always brother.

Thanks guys, it's a fun project. I'll post pics of the sheath tomorrow in this thread.

That Ulu looks like it would handle a Labrador or two and maybe a Mastiff! OHHH you mean the Labrador Peninsula. Nice sheath, love the Sam Brown stud tie .....Randy

looks very handy for its primitive elegance. The antler is useful for some things also, a digging point or a napping tool, if you had to.

I'm resisting the very strong impulse to throw it ;-)) Makes a great bushcraft piece and if you happen to run into a Whale that needs cutting up you have the right tool ;-))

Robin, you didn't have to make an ulu just because of me. You know I have a good deal of experience with them and absolutely love the one you made. I didn't think you liked skinning axes though. Bring on more!
