I will warn you, though. The quality on these are dissapointing but I quess you get what you pay for. Another thing, in NY if you use this thing on someone, even if it was out of self defense, you are going to have a HARD time staying out of jail! Just something to consider.

Um ... it isn't for me? Actually this is true. I have a friend who just wants to have one. Don't believe it is intended for real use. Thanks!

Some Knife's

Just so you know sword canes and umbrella swords are specifically mentioned as illegal in NYC.

Places like NYC should just put out the list of things that are legal. The list would be very short, save paper, etc.

Don,
You'd be suprised at how much stuff is legal here. But you must remember it's a big city and the police worry about things like sword canes and sword umbrellas more than most. They worry about the concealed weapons. I think a lot of the laws are stupid, but I know a lot of LEO's down this way and you can't believe some of the stuff I've heard and seen. and yes they'll tell you most times a knife is involved in a fight it's a kitchen knife and it's usually a domestic dispute which is probably the most dangerous thing a cop can get involved in.
