Umfaan Lefty - Did CRK Make Many of These?

Just curious. Never saw one of these lefties before, though it only makes sense they existed. But saw it, so I picked it up. Does anyone know if many were made?

Yes they did I have one. It's plain though. I got it at Plaza Cutlery in Costa Mesa. It was a number of years ago. They had three but they be all gone. Now I wish I would have bought them all.

Well, I am glad I got this one. I keep acquiring edc's. I had been switching between three, but now I think I am just going to carry this Umfaan.

I just received a response from Chris Reeve Knives on this subject. Their knives are only equalled by their outstanding customer service. Here is the operative portion of the email, notwithstanding some lack of record-keeping: "we believe we made around 1500 Umfaans and of those around 25 were Left Handed. Please note that these are not exact numbers, but are the best we can come up with."
