So, I'd guess it's getting close to 10 years since I've been waiting for the redesigned umfaan. Mnandi doesn't count, nice but not the same. I guess it's time to stop waiting, and assume it's not coming back. I have a large and small sebenza, Mnandi, and two small and pretty Henry Williams. I want a frame lock knife smaller than sebenza, tough and plain - want to be able to put it in my pocket with keys, money clip, etc. - no clip or pouch... Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Actually, Ive heard they are redesigning it and it will be back quite soon.

Not to start the Alias vs. Sebenza wars going again, but what about a Bradley Alias II? I have a lg Seb, an Umnumzaan, and a Mnandi, but I still like my Bradley Alias I...

I like the Strider PT CC for no clip carry. It's not a Sebbie, but mine is rock solid. You could also look into the Spyderco Leafstom and just take the clip off.

Why don't you get a Gerry McGinnis "Shrimp". It is a tiny frame lock knife. I will include a picture of mine.
