I want an Umfaan real bad! There, I said it, I feel a little better now. However, since there were very few made and most guys want to keep them, my chances are slim.

So, having never handled the Umfaan, I'm asking how the Chive compares... DIMENSIONALLY. Length, width, weight...that kind of thing.

I found these specs for the Umfaan. Dont know about the Chive.
Specifications
Blade material: BG 42 stainless steel
Handle material: 6AL4V titanium
Blade length: 2.3 inches
Handle length: 3.15 inches
Blade Thickness: 0.095 inches
Handle Thickness: 0.100 inches
Hardness: 0.100 inches

You'll have to pry mine from my cold dead hands....... :D One of my favorite little knives of all time. :)

The Umfaans for sale seem to pop up in small bunches. While many are holding on to theirs (me for example), you're likely to seem them from time to time. Just monitor buy and sell regularly, or put out a wanted notice. You will be very happy to get one.
