Umfaan vs William Henry carbon fibre

I was looking for a good knife as an everyday deally. I've got a Mnandi, but its starting to feel "too nice" for daily grunt work. I started looking into getting a CR Umfaan, but was lured by the price and praise of the WH Carbon Fibre. I ended up ordering the medium sized one. What do you guys think? Good move? Are both of similar quality?

I love the feel and look of my CR Mnandi, and also how it opens and closes, but was slightly put off by a couple of details (the non-functional end of the blade seems to have an uneven finish, and the bushings (belleville washers?) on either side of the blade seem to be different sizes. But aside from these two things, its a wonderful knife.

What can I expect out of my WH carbon fibre?

The bigger round the washer is the more it holds the blade. That's a good thing. The other one is smaller because the lock is in the way. The few WH knives I have seen are also like this.

I think whichever you have is a good buy. The Umfaan is definitely the sturdier of the two. It has been with me everyday (except when traveling by plane) for the last year. Great knife.

I also carry the William Henry CF Lancet (the middle one in size). It is handy for letter opening, string cutting, etc. Definitely a gents knife.

I think both of these knives are excellent and elegant.

I have a WH T-12 with redwood scales. I had a rewood backspacer put in it to keep the coins out of the knife when I carry it. I don't care fot the little clip on carry cases. It is a nice knife but I found it to be too light for everyday use. Makes a good dress knife.
