Ok, I have way too much time to spair at work today (as usual) and I have been messing around with my Umfaan. Well, I had an extra old style clip for a Sebenza so I got one out and tried it on the Umfaan. It fits like it was made for it. It may be a little big but I like it. I may end up grinding the clip a little to make it narrower. Why doesn't CRK make them like this? This will go nicely in my shirt pocket now

Won't the clip spin and scratch up the handle finish since it's not inset?

Professor.

I just knew someone would bring this up. I tightened the screw pretty tight and wiggled it and it didn't budge. I agree that maybe it needs to be installed differently just incase it does try to turn. It still looks neat and I was just messing around so no harm done.

Personally, I like it. I know there are some who despise clips in the first place, and to them this will seem like blasphemy. For me, the lack of the clip is one reason I haven't yet plunked down the $$$ for the Umfaan. The Elishewitz pocket sheath is one solution (albeit a bit large for the Umf); Michael has shown us another! (and Michael, if you really want to get things going, use a little JB-Weld or Lock-Tite black on it!)

Anne's got to be shaking her head and laughing.

Not my cup of tea, Michael, but you must've had a blast putting this one together! Makes life fun, doesn't it?!

Hey, I thought about using JB Weld. It would probably work but it may be hard to get off if I decided to carry it in the leather sheath. I am trying to figure out another way to do it.
