Went walking last week in the lakes and took my sebbie for its first proper outing.I have got to admit it is the best 'outdoor' knife I have ever owned!
I love it more now it has got scratched and is not in pristine condition!

I totally concur with your point of view! The first scratch on my sebbie nearly killed me, but the subsequent scratches on the handle have given my small plain its own ''character" and my personal stamp of ownership.
