I'm sorry this didn't get posted sooner, but I still have a few mobility issues after my surgery (getting better every day!) Taking photographs is harder than you would think sometimes.

Part of my recovery process is a promise I made myself to get back into shooting, a sport I have always loved. Another part was acquiring the handgun of my dreams, a custom Ed Brown Special Forces Carry. Well, just before I went under the scalpel, I found the gun. Once I saw her, I knew ordinary grips were not going to make the grade. So I asked Garth and Jerry...how about some more incentive to get well? And this, my Bussekin, is what came to pass:

I'm no Lunde, but I hope you can see the beauty of "Baby" here, as well as that of the Sandstorm Boss Jack (thanks, Oeser!)

The pictures do not do justice to these BEAUTIFUL grips! I am having another (comparatively minor) surgery on Tuesday, but I have all the incentive I need now to make a FULL recovery!

Thank you all at Busse, but especially to Garth (I owe you, my friend!) Jerry--thank you again, Bossman!, and Amy for making me feel better! I love you all.

I like the sandstorm grips

And the matching Boss Jack is a nice touch, really nice combo

Those are nice pics too by the way

That is an amazing gun and beautiful grips! Only from the great folks at Busse would you get that kind of personal service

Best wishes on you upcoming and then get out and get some shooting in!!

Holy Cow Robin!

From one 1911 nut to another, it just doesn't get any better than that.

AWESOME!!!!

Shoot it in good health and glad the recovery is progressing.

Michael

Thanks for the kind words, guys! The Ed Brown is sweet in the hand, and I've loved the 1911 since my ex-husband told me a woman wouldn't shoot one...:D ;)

Man, that's a sweet combo right there! ...And you & lunde will be who I blame when I break down and get myself a Brown... ;)

I'm guessing that your grips were a custom order? I don't recall mine being 'bobbed' ...Nice to know if so, because when I do finally go for one, I want it to have Busse grips as well. :)

Glad to hear that you are recovering nicely after that surgery, and shoot that beauty in good health!:thumbup:

Oh la la, Robin, that is a NICE combo. I especially like that Ed Brown. I LOVE the Bobtail on some of his guns. They make holding the gun amazingly comfortable.

That is a BEAUTIFUL set you have there! I love the Ed Brown. Hard to beat a quality 1911 and knife combo. The epitome of form meeting function.

JAXX- step back from the Ed Brown window :-) They are almost as addictive as INFI.

WOW--Sweet combo Robin!:thumbup::thumbup:

I wish you a speedy recovery from your surgery!!:)
