Umnum Question's for Chris Reeve

I have a umnum that i have opened several hundreds of times.

The knife is broken in and works well.

Since the knife was new, it has had a deep lock-up and i have had no concerns about it. (It's fine !! )

My umnum has never been silent as allot of folks say there's are.

My knife is to the point that the rubber O-rings on the thumb stud are about to break and i see that without the O-rings there will be no effect on the blade lock up.

I have always been taught that the proper way to open a thumb stud knife is with a straight flicking of the stud and Not a sideways sweeping motion as mentioned in another thread.

I was a little concerned when it was mentioned in another thread that repeated use like this will damage the knife...i personally don't see this happening but in the case that i does...i would like to think that the great Chris Reeve knives will stand behind it 100% ( i mean this sincerely and respectfully).

I have also just purchased the Plaza Decorated umnum and would like to know where the other one is.

3) Flicking open a knife isn't the best idea.

4) The smooth sweeping motion is the right way to open a Umnum.

6) The standard answer is to send it back to CRK, they will take care of
it I promise.

7) I assume that you have 2 Umnums. How does your regular one
compare to the decorated one?

8) I'm not sure what happened to the other decorated one.
