what it the button or disk with the CRK logo on the lock side panel?

how is it attached?

a pic taken down would be appreciated.

i have seen take down pics and on the inside nothing shows up.

It is the lockbar stabilizer. It is press fit in and not designed to be removed.

The Lock bar disk simply keeps the user from overextending the frame lock. It's fixed onto the knife and can't be removed. If you want one without it purchase an older generation umnumzaan. They pop up once in a while on the aftermarket (such as here on BF)
