Umnumzaan lanyard pin alternatives?

What do people out there do in lieu of a lanyard? I know there’s the standoff kit from CRK (anyone have that?), looks like there’s a custom titanium shop that makes flares pins to fill the hole...anything else? What do people like? I have my first Zaan on the way and I’ve lost my taste for lanyards and I gotta figure out what to do!

I have both the kit from CRK (the Norvox mod), and the custom anodized spacer/lanyard pin from MXG gear

I prefer the look of the MXG...looks cleaner to my eye

Thanks for your thoughts! MXG pin is a good fit with no rattling or anything?
 
The MXG fits great...maybe a tiny rattle, not unlike a lanyard-less pin in a Seb 21. I honestly do not notice any noise or vibration unless I hold the knife up next to my ear and give it a firm shake

Hated that fraying..the only reason I made them :)
 
View attachment 874418 View attachment 874417 I put a push pin quick release lanyard on a Sebenza mostly as a loss prevention accessory. This set up would most likely work on an Umnumzaan. I usually remove the lanyard when using the knife and let it hang from my belt. The pin can go in from either side. I showed the lanyard to Chris Reeve at the Blade Show. He said it was too clunky, but he can laugh at the world if he loses a knife.

Great ideas everyone! Thanks! I’m leaning toward the standoff kit, and man those Hyde spacer...WANT. For now, though, I ran a semi-gutted piece of black paracord through the pin and did a snake knot with a silver CRK bead. I’m actually kind of digging it. I’m sure I’ll be switching things up soon enough though...
