Is the disc on the zaans press fit or actually screwed in? Also does it even matter which way they do it?

I have one, looks very accurately press fit, I may be wrong but I doubt that I am.

Wouldn't being screwed in defeat the purpose? If it was, anyone who wanted to modify the lock bar tension easily could unscrew it and do so.

I read one "report" from CRK spokesperson who stated that it is stainless that is press-fit.

If it's pressed in, then it's different than Hinderer and Strider - which are both screwed in. It may use a screw from the inside?!

i'm glad it has a lock stop now...i have over-pushed other frame locks in the past (especially when wearing gloves) in hard working situations...my zaan is being used actively and i don't want to have to worry about damaging it that way ever.
