Second. I recently bought a used small sebenza here. This will, however be my first NEW CRK knife. I love the small sebbie and it has pushed everything else out of my pocket. I wanted something larger and after a lot of thought between it and the large sebbie I went with the umnumzaan. I know I will get a large at some poitou but for now the umnumzaan and small sebbie will do till then!

But being an engineering student for a while and having an obsession with detail and perfection (some call it ocd) i took the plunge and now my standards are set. I appreciate the sebenza for its construction and detail and i use it everyday without hesitating.

I have had all 3 umnumzaans ( standard, tanto, star-tac ) and really liked them. I sold the star-tac because of the shard grooves, but the standard umnumzaan is absolutely amazing. I have used mine for everything you could think of. Cutting, chopping, food prep, used it as a wood scraper, cut shingles ) scoured the backs ) and everything inbetween and it has come out just slightly scratched. Its an amazing knife to say the least. I haven't carried mine in awhile as I have carried others, but when I want that super tough folder, the zaan will be my first grab. Congrats on your Second CRK. The price-point is always kinda tough to cross, but once you do, you will quickly realize that everything else is a step down.

Good decision! The umnumzaan is my personal favorite folder of all time. I sold all my others, and now my only EDC's are a carter neck knife, and my umnumzaan. My umnum is actually in my pocket right now, and im wearing my pajamas

Man what a great knife. This may be my all-time favorite (I have yet to own a large sebenza so I'll hold the final judgment till then).
